Teen Titans Revival: 10 Reasons It Will Be Better Than Titans
6. A Chance To Tie Up Loose Ends
As great as the original Teen Titans series was, its conclusion didn't really sit well with a lot of fans. This is because, as previously mentioned, season five's ending seemed to be teasing a follow up that never came. (Also, the self-contained TV movie, Trouble in Tokyo, was a series finale in name only.)
To go into greater detail, the season five finale, Things Change, revealed that Terra was actually alive and well following season two's main arc, which saw her harshly betray the Titans, only to have a change of heart and sacrifice herself to put things right.
When Terra returned at the tail-end of the series, seemingly without her powers or memories, many questions were raised, but almost no answers were given. In turn, a Teen Titans revival presents a chance at some closure.
Not only that, but the revival could also shed some light on the other threads that the first five seasons left hanging. Who was the second Red X? What became of Blackfire? What's next for Slade?
Finally getting some definitive answers to these questions is more than enough to further generate interest in a Teen Titans revival, whereas the trailer for Titans hasn't exactly done a great job at selling the new series as a must-watch. In fact, it's done the opposite.
