The Arrowverse: 10 Most Hated Supporting Characters

Okay, so, yes, Waller is supposed to be annoying and hated, sure. As Will Smith's Deadshot put it in 2016's Suicide Squad, 'That is one mean lady.'

As the director of ARGUS, the Nick Fury of Arrow, she is the woman whom it could be argued is directly responsible for forging Oliver Queen into The Hood, or The Arrow, or The Green Arrow, or whatever he calls himself season to season. However, that doesn't mean that she's not one of the most universally hated and unbearably annoying characters in the Arrowverse.

Her snooty demeanour and know it all attitude is only bolstered that much more so by the fact that she does know it all - most of the time. Her smugness in always getting the results she wants is so infuriating that you actively want things to go badly for her - for an operation to go wrong, for a plan to misfire, or for her division to be shut down.

But time and time again, she succeeds.

Waller constantly puts others in life threatening peril, sometimes without their knowledge. She has wilfully endangered whole cities, and hides behind the 'for the greater good' line. The most annoying thing about it is that she doesn't care whose lives she ruins in the process. Or whose marriage. *Cough* Dig and Lyla *cough*.
