The Big Bang Theory: 10 Best Wil Wheaton Episodes
1. "The Opening Night Excitation"
"The Opening Night Excitation" is the Wil Wheaton episode that everyone pretty much loves for the way it mixed franchises in as funny a way as possible. It's all thanks to Wil's clothing choice in a key scene involving the premiere of the new Star Wars movie.
The bulk of the episode is about Sheldon's decision to skip the premiere to be with Amy on her birthday (followed by them finally consummating their relationship). Sheldon decides to skip the premiere, which lands Wheaton in his seat, as the tickets were hard to get.
Raj, Leonard, and Howard were ready to give Sheldon's ticket to Stuart, but the prospect of attending alongside Wil was far more appealing. He happily accepts, and a little later in the episode, the guys are gathered, waiting for him to arrive.
When he does, he's dressed as Spock from The Original Series and enters while displaying the Vulcan salute. The Star Wars fans see this and boo at his offensive incorrect-franchise clothing choice, but he eats it up, loving the rejection. When someone yells that Star Trek sucks, he replies, "Live long and suck it."
