The Big Bang Theory: 10 Best Wil Wheaton Episodes

7. "The Wheaton Recurrence"

"The Wheaton Recurrence" is the second episode Wil Wheaton appears in on the show. In his first appearance, he and Sheldon establish their rivalry, which is entirely one-sided on Sheldon's part. Regardless, Will picked it up and ran with it when the two met for the second time.

Their meeting comes when the guys are bowling opposite Stuart's team, which includes Wheaton as a substitute. At the time, Wheaton was seen as an evil character... at least, he did in Sheldon's eyes, and Wil was having fun with it, so they traded words a bit.

When they meet to bowl a second time, Sheldon reveals his team shirts with the name "The Wesley Crushers." It's a great play on Wheaton's character from Star Trek: The Next Generation, but Sheldon saw it as a diss — It wasn't, and everyone loved the shirts.

Wil throws off Sheldon's game, telling him to embrace the Dark Side while pushing Leonard to force Penny into an "I love you" box, which predictably ends badly. Sheldon confronts Wil about sabotaging a couple to win a game, and when he realizes what he did, he looks to the sky, screaming "WHEAAATOOOOONNN" in pure Wrath of Khan style.
