The Big Bang Theory: 10 Questions That Must Be Answered Before The End

1. Will The Elevator Finally Be Repaired In The Final Episode?

One of the longest-running jokes on the series has to do with the elevator in the hallways of the apartment building most of the characters call home. It was revealed early on that they were the ones who destroyed it, but after a dozen years, you would think the super might fix it.

Granted, the climbing of the stairs has served as a means of exposition and discussion for the characters, but now that the show is ending, it's high time that elevator was fixed.

If you think about it, the guys should be able to fix it themselves seeing as they are all geniuses. Howard is an engineer, which suggests he should be able to repair it himself, but at the very least, the super should have gotten off his/her butt and taken care of it long ago.

With the series coming to a conclusion, it seems only right that the elevator should finally be repaired as a last act on the show. As the lights are beginning to fade on the final scene, perhaps the elevator's chime will "ring" for the first time in a long time and the characters will all board the car leaving the audience to watch as the doors shut on the characters everyone came to love and adore through 12 seasons of amazing television programming.
