As mentioned in the introduction, Sheldon is a character the audience indulges in hating. They almost live to see him fail at being a conventional human being and are keen to point those flaws out to anyone who'd listen. Whether there's just ground for that level of attention in Sheldon's own personality almost doesn't matter - its a fusion of his traits and his actions that the audience loves to find repulsive. Granted, if Sheldon were no longer part of the show, there'd be none of that for the audience to enjoy, but killing such a character off would surely bring some satisfaction and close the book on Sheldon's journey without the need for an epiphany. Arguably, Sheldon is beyond character-changing moments, and therefore the audience would love to see nothing more than the character to meet a grisly end. Did you agree with this list?
