The Big Bang Theory - 5 Things We Love About Series 7 So Far

1. The Sheldon/Penny Moments

Bigbangsheldonpenny The Sheldon/Penny moments have always been brilliant, all the way through the Big Bang Theory's long run. From the soft kitty, warm kitty lullaby through to the *knock* knock* *knock* Penny gag, the chemistry between the two is a constant source of comedic gold. Though the two often share a love-hate relationship, in season 7, we see them become closer than ever before during Leonard's absence in "The Hofstadter Insufficiency". With Penny without a boyfriend to keep her company and Sheldon a flatmate and best friend to insult, the two share numerous moments of intimacy as they forge a close and unexpected bond. This is perhaps best evidenced by the fact Penny no longer reacts with annoyance when Sheldon performs his trademark and routine three-time-knock on her door, and asks him calmly what's wrong. The two friends later engage in various activities to pass the time of day, such as board games, while they each react with excitement when Leonard calls. Like the Amy/Howard relationship, we hope to see a lot more of Sheldon and Penny in future episodes. Have you been watching season 7 of the Big Bang Theory? What do you like about it?
