After the first season of The Big Bang Theory proved to be a hit with viewers, season two started to establish more in-depth and meaningful storylines. The most notable being the developing relationship between Penny and Leonard, which included some major obstacles and setbacks.

We also began to learn a bit more about Sheldon, Raj and Howard and how they turned out the way they did. We still don't fully understand how Sheldon became Sheldon.

In short, The Big Bang Theory took everything that worked in season one and built on it, developing more of the same jokes and humour while expanding the great nerd world of Pasadena. We also got our first look at The Comic Book Centre of Pasadena and an introduction to its owner, Stuart Bloom, who was a talented artist who struggled with financial and health issues.

All in all, season two of The Big Bang Theory is a stronger season with some of the most iconic moments in the entire show.
