6. Closure
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yY-ppjN0vM In a bid to help Sheldon overcome his need for closure, girlfriend and neurobiologist Amy decided to conduct an experiment in which a series of tasks are started but are stopped before they are finished. Sheldon struggles to cope with the lack of ending of the tasks; admitting to wanting to rip his own skin off, wrestling a jack in the box from Amy's grasp and wishing for her death when blowing out candles on a birthday cake. By the time Amy leaves, Sheldon appears to have miraculously changed. But it's all a rouse; as soon as the door has closed, Sheldon rushes about finishing everything that couldn't be finished before. He begins with his game of noughts and crosses, remembering the exact moves from before and uttering an 'oh yeah' when he sees that he has won the game. He then blows out all of the candles on the cake, allows the jack in the box to pop up and fully sings the national anthem. Finally, he lines up his dominoes in exactly the same formation as before. Then he pushes the first one over and runs to the other end, watching each one fall and knock over the next. When the last one has fallen, Sheldon rolls over and moans in bliss at the closure that he has finally received.
