5. Valium
Sheldon doesn't like keeping secrets, so when Penny asks him to keep one of hers away from Leonard, he becomes very nervous about keeping it to himself. In trying to be a good friend to Penny, Sheldon decides to move out before he lets the secret slip. First he tries bunking with Raj but a couple of comments about Indian cinema and Geiger counters leaves Raj no option but to pack up Sheldon's bags and take him to Howards. Howard tries his best but Sheldon's constant muttering about the various actresses to play Cat Woman becomes too much for him to bear. He slips a couple of his Mother's Valium into Sheldon's glass of milk in the hope that he'll fall asleep and finally let Howard have some peace. However, the Valium doesn't take effect, so Howard drives him back home to Leonard. By the time Sheldon steps back into his apartment, he's as high as a kite. He falls into the armchair sideways, everything he says is in a strange tone and he can't stop staring at his hands. Of course, in this drug fuelled state, he has no trouble releasing all of his secrets. First it's the hilarious 'Mom smokes in the car, Jesus is ok with it but we can't tell Dad' and then he confesses to be Batman. Finally he agrees to spill Penny's secret as long as Leonard doesn't tell Leonard, clearly showing just how much the drugs are altering his mind. When Leonard replies, Sheldon has already moved on to other topics, stating that he 'drank milk that tasted funny'. He finishes by making fun of Leonards academic career before leaving to go to bed.
