The Book Of Boba Fett: 10 Things You Missed

7. That Arm Looks Familiar - Chapter 4

The Book of Boba Fett
Disney

In the fourth episode, we see how Boba Fett met his bodyguard, Fennec Shand. After being left for dead, Boba carried Fennec to a modifier who replaced her damaged organs with cybernetic implants.

Not only is this a cool scene that expands on the characters' relationship, fans of funk music were over all three of Tatooine's moons to see Grammy winner, Thundercat, cameoing as the modifier. They were so happy to see the iconic musician in Star Wars, they probably didn't notice that an Easter egg lurks in his cybernetic arm.

At a glance, his metallic appendage looks like it's designed for surgery. Although this is true, that wasn't the device's original purpose. If you look at the elbow, you'll notice this limb once belonged to a Super Battle Droid - the same robots which the Jedi faced during The Clone Wars (which is also when Boba's father met his grisly fate). Not only is this a nice reference, the fact that the modifier altered a Battle Droid's gun into a surgical tool highlights how he's more than qualified to work on Fennec.
