6. He's Not Invincible

Throughout the show, we've seen Homelander being shot, stabbed, crushed, and blown up, and yet, walk away without a scratch. According to Vought-American's former CEO, Madelyn Stillwell, 'There isn't a weapon on Earth that they haven't thrown at him. They've all failed.' Even though he has been stunned and immobilised, Homelander has never endured a single grievous injury, implying that he's pretty much invincible.

Although he doesn't have a blatant weakness like Kryptonite, the American superhero's power isn't limitless. Due to his supersensitive hearing, he is far more vulnerable to sonic attacks than an average human. Because his son, Ryan, has the same power-set, he may have the potential to go toe-to-toe with his father.

However, Homelander's greatest weakness isn't physical but mental. Due to his crippling insecurities and narcissism, he feels like he needs constant adoration to function. Having the spotlight taken away from him leaves him distracted and easy to manipulate. Although Homelander will most certainly be killed with brute force, it's safe to assume The Boys will prey on the superhero's arrogance and ego to ultimately take him down.
