The Boys: 10 Things Only True Fans Know About Homelander

2. He's Technically A Clone Of Stormfront

Season 2 of The Boys introduced Stormfront as a major antagonist for the title characters. After joining The Seven, the media were instantly won over by her defiantly sassy attitude, which amplified Homelander's jealousy exponentially. When he learned she was a Supe created by the Nazis, he prepared to use the information to blackmail her. After speaking to Stormfront about her past, Homelander realised he had a lot in common with her, causing the pair to start dating.

Even though Stormfront is in the comics, the character is drastically different. Not only is the superhero male in the source material, he wasn't a member of The Seven, nor did he interact with Homelander.

Although most comic fans know about these revisions, there's another big change many readers forget about the fascist superhero. Homelander wasn't just created by the same compound as Stormfront - Homelander was created directly from him.

When American scientists got their hands on Compound V, they thought their best chance of creating a Supe on par with the Nazi champion was to inject a human embryo with some of Stormfront's cells. Although he isn't an exact clone of Stormfront, it was his cells that birthed Homelander into existence.
