2. Who Is Homelander's Mother?
Among the twists, turns, and shocks that made up season three of The Boys, potentially the biggest was that Soldier Boy was technically Homelander’s biological father. As soon as it was said it seemed obvious, but this was a revelation.
Though Dr. Vogelbaum did most of the work creating John in a test tube, he needed something to start from. This was Soldier Boy’s sperm, but this entire sub-plot raises the question of Homelander’s mother. There is one interesting theory that could shake the Seven's leader even more than his paternal reveal.
It seems certain that this would be a Vought superhero, and while Crimson Countess was Soldier Boy’s better half, it could be that another was used to help create the child that would become Homelander. At the time she would have gone by Liberty, but by the time she starting having sex with her own son she was Stormfront.
She and Soldier Boy have history, having both founded Herogasm together, and she would have been around Vought at the time. Just imagine the revelation that Stormfront could be Homelander’s mom, and think about his reaction and who he could take it out on.
