4. How Far Will Homelander & Neuman's Deal Go?
While Homelander has seen his alliances at Vought crumble around him, one of his strongest going forward appears to be coming from the outside. Despite being raised by Stan Edgar, Victoria Neuman turned on the former CEO of Vought to establish a relationship with Homelander.
She gave him a slip of paper with Ryan’s whereabouts on it, while he engineered the “accident” that led to her becoming Dakota Bob’s Presidential running mate. This seems to be leading to Neuman’s character taking on the role of Vice President of the USA as her counterpart did in the comics.
Homelander on his own was dangerous, and with the entirety of Vought’s power and influence behind him he may be unstoppable. Who can say what he will have the scope to do with an ally in the White House? That is, if they can continue to work together without killing each other first.
Homelander could kill Neuman with a thought, and while it’s unknown whether her powers are strong enough to get inside Homelander’s head, it certainly would be an interesting experiment. How long will they last, and just how much will they be able to influence the entire country together?
