1. Homelander's Public Murder

Season three’s version of Homelander was a liberated Homelander. Previously, even with the unrivalled strength within him, he was intimidated by Stan Edgar and still had to toe the line under the orders of his boss at Vought International.

He spoke his mind in public once and gained popularity points, which opened the floodgates to him eventually being his unfiltered self and ultimately taking over Vought. This snowballed ridiculously, to the point that he felt comfortable murdering in public. He had always been this ruthless, but before at least he had the decency to hide it.

The final scene of season three saw the Storm Chasers clashing with Starlight’s followers. These were the two main camps, but when one threw a missile that struck Ryan, Homelander used his laser eyes to kill him instantly.

It was crazy enough that he did this without hesitation. It was crazy enough that he was cheered for it. What was arguably the craziest thing was that it was Todd, Janine’s stepdad, that started the cheering. He was a hateful character all season, but this was unbelievable.
