After becoming the main antagonist for the second season of The Boys, Stormfront was naturally defeated in the big climax of the season finale. The Boys came together with the Seven (two of them at least), and pretty comprehensively defeated her.

The final blow was delivered by Ryan, who after seeing his mother killed by Stormfront gave her a taste of the unparalleled powers he inherited from his supe father. Every inch of visible skin was horribly burned, and she lost her left eye, as well as both legs and an arm. Naturally, everyone assumed that this was the end of Stormfront, because why wouldn’t they? Who could possibly survive such a thing?

Of course, a supe could, which was confirmed when Homelander visited his old flame in a hospital bed. It was almost distressing seeing her essentially live as a prisoner inside her own body, barely able to offer Homelander the pleasure he demanded when he came to visit.

By the second episode, she had forcibly bitten off and swallowed her own tongue in what was surely a more horrific death than it would have been had she just died at the hands of Ryan in the first place.
