The Boys: Ranking All The Main Characters Worst To Best
11. A-Train
The Seven are (mostly) terrible people, and there can be no doubt that A-Train is one of the group's worst offenders. Selfish, arrogant and morally bankrupt, all he's ever been concerned about is maintaining his status as the world's fastest man. A-Train is also the one who kicks off the main thread of the show, killing Hughie Campbell's girlfriend and setting The Boys after the Seven.
A-Train is far passed redemption at this point, having killed Robyn in only the first episode, then killing his own girlfriend after she betrayed him. But he is nonetheless quite a compelling character, constantly attempting to better himself because he knows deep down that he's not always going to be the fastest in the room.
This has led to some great moments, the best of which sees him taking on newcomer Starlight and becoming hooked on Compound V, a drug that creates and betters superheroes' powers. He's twisted and dangerously self-obsessed, and though his arc hasn't been as forward-moving in the second season, A-Train is still a great, complex character.
