The Boys Season 3: 10 Shocking Comic Book Moments That Must Happen
1. Becca's Gruesome Death
Although Rebecca Butcher has already met her unfortunate end in the season two finale of The Boys, the moment of her death in the comic-verse is definitely something that can be drawn from in season three. After years of being the cold, miserable sod we've all come to love, Billy Butcher met the love of his life in Rebecca, who changed him for the better. One night on their honeymoon the couple encountered The Seven, which caused Becca to become more and more distant for some reason or another.
A few months later Billy awoke to a terrible sight. Becca's body lay bloody and mangled next to him while a small infant with its umbilical cord still attached floated eerily above her. What ensued was a rage-fueled fight between Butcher and the superhuman infant, which finally ended with the baby's head being crushed by the force of a swinging lamp.
The scenario is far too shocking of a concept to be passed up on by the showrunners, who can easily incorporate it into season three. Whether it takes the form of Butcher's worst nightmare, or is made to apply to another character, it's a moment like all the others that I'd love to see in live action.
