The Flash: 10 Characters Who Should Join Season 3

6. Rag Doll

The Flash Black Racer
DC Comics

The villainous Rag Doll offers up so many possibilities to The Flash. A rogue who has changed dramatically over the years, Rag Doll not only poses a threat as an individual but he also has the potential to be used as a cult leader of sorts.

Initially introduced as a villain for the Jay Garrick Flash back in the 1940s, this villain was a master contortionist who could also hypnotize those around him. Additionally, he can also withstand huge beatings, making him a tricky rogue to fully put down and keep down.

In later years, as he became a foe of the Barry Allen version of The Flash, Rag Doll managed to actually become a leader of men, using his unstable charms to actually have others do his bidding for him on the streets of Starman’s Opal City.

Seeing an incarnation of Rag Doll lead a brainwashed uprising against The Flash in the televisual Central City could make for some brilliant viewing and could make this oft-discarded villain a serious threat for Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen.

Whilst Green Arrow has had to deal with Deathstroke and Brother Blood, we've yet to see Barry tackle any sort of cult or someone who sees themselves as a prophet. That's where Rag Doll comes into his own and offers plenty of possibilities for Season 3.
