Nora Allen is, without a doubt, the linchpin of The Flash's story, as it was her murder that inadvertently kick-started a chain of events that led to her son becoming the Scarlet Speedster.
Warm, loving and kind, Nora was everything that a great mother should be and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who can keep it together whenever the show revisits one of the many touching scenes between her and her "beautiful boy" Barry.
It says a lot that we've all gotten attached to Nora in spite of the fact that she's never been alive in the present day, but that's both a testament to the strength of her character and Michelle Harrison's wonderfully endearing performance.
