The Flash Season 2: 11 Big Questions We're Asking After The Mid-Season Premiere
5. And When Will He Gain Powers?
Of course, when it comes to Wally West, there's something even bigger to come than just how he gets along with his newly discovered family. In the comics, Wally is a speedster who becomes Kid Flash, and later takes on the Flash mantle himself. He has speed on the show, but it comes from driving a car rather than running (perhaps some sort of foreshadowing, or maybe that's reading way too much into it). Presumably, though, he will get speed at some point, otherwise it makes little sense to introduce him. Quite how and when this will happen isn't clear yet, although, like with Jay, it might be as part of a final team-up to take down Zoom (and if that's the case, you can probably throw Jesse Quick (Wells' daughter) into the mix as well).
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
