Right, so, it's Flash-math time. Zoom is Jay Garrick. There's someone on Earth-1 calling himself Jay Garrick, who may be the same person running around as Zoom. Also on Earth-1 is Hunter Zolomon, a man we're told is Jay's doppelgänger. Then there's the man in the iron mask, who is almost certainly another version of Jay/Hunter. That means we've got at least 2, but more likely 4 Jay Garricks/Hunter Zolomons out there. In order for that to work, it would mean that Jay lied when he said Earth-1 Hunter was his doppelgänger, and that there really is an actual Jay Garrick from that Earth. So then, is it the case that Jay and Hunter are twins, and there's two sets of them: one on Earth-1, and another on Earth-2? It seems the only logical (lol, as if any of this is at all logical) explanation, but even then just opens up more questions. Is the Jay from Earth-1 really dead? If he was there, who was Zoom? Was it just a speed mirage then? Given the man in the mask's reaction to Jay's dead - or supposed dead - body, there's definitely a connection there, right? Have multiple people been wearing the Zoom costume? Are there more versions of these guys out there? As Zoom/Jay/Zolomon said: "Well, this is a complication." What did you think of King Shark (the episode)? What did you think of King Shark (the metahuman)? Is your head hurting with all the Jay/Zolomon/Zoom possibilities, or have you made sense of it all?
