9. Are We Moving Closer To West-Allen?

Iris decides not to go on her date with Scott this week, although not for the obvious reason (namely that dating your boss would be a terrible idea (I stress that I'm not speaking from experience)).

No, instead she's seriously considering her relationship with Barry, and whether that might be the right move. That's a great idea if she's genuinely falling in love with him, but again, the reasoning is something else. It's because they're married on Earth-2, and in the future on this Earth, so if it's inevitable then why fight it?

It doesn't seem like the strongest foundation to build a relationship on, especially when there's been so much brother-sister stuff between them, but it does seem as though that's the way the show is heading. It knows it has to deliver, it's just a question of when.
