8. Can We Have Earth-1 Joe Singing?

This episode was so fun and packed full of highlights that picking a favourite is really difficult, but if I've got to choose (and apparently I'm forcing myself to) then - with apologies to Floyd Lawton, nicknamed Deadshot on Earth-2 because he's such a poor marksman - it's got to be Jesse L. Martin singing. Rather than a cop, Earth-2 joe West is a singer in a jazz bar - Jitterbug was a very nice touch - and, as you'd expect from the man who broke through in Broadway musical Rent, he absolutely nails it. Joe has long been one of the very best characters on the show, especially when it comes to emotional moments (I definitely don't want to go through him dying again after this week) but it's also great when he gets to be a bit more playful, because he's so damn good at that too. With his vocal talents, could we maybe get a song or two from Joe West on Earth-1? We've already had Barry singing, and with Melissa Benoist maybe part of this universe as well, can we be that far off a musical episode?
