They've already had one yellow-suited speedster as the overarching villain of the season, and it worked so well that they're now going to repeat the trick. However, there's no reason to think this is just going to be tracking over the same old ground, as Zoom is quite different to Reverse-Flash. It could well be that he's another version of Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells from an alternate dimension, but the belief is that he will be Hunter Zoloman, aka Professor Zoom, or in this case just Zoom. Where he differs from Reverse-Flash and all of the other speedsters is that he doesn't actually run really fast. Instead, he can control time to slow down everything around him, which makes catching him an extremely difficult proposition. Speaking at Comic-Con, where the character was announced, producer Andrew Kreisberg said: "He's faster than the Reverse-Flash, faster than Flash and will be very hard to catch.
