The Flash Season 3: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Paradox'

Flashpoint may be over, but things aren't back to normal just yet on The Flash. Barry can't make changes to the timeline without affecting something else, and that's the paradox of this episode, conveniently titled Paradox.

Picking up after the end of the Season 3 premiere, we soon dive a little deeper into why Joe and Iris aren't speaking, and what else has changed. As it turns out, Iris is still working with Team Flash, and so too is Joe, they're just not on good terms.

Meanwhile, Cisco is unhappy with Barry, as in this timeline his brother Dante was killed (and Barry wouldn't time travel to save him). Tom Felton's Julian Albert now exists out of nowhere too, proving every bit the British-accented d*ck you expected him to be, and after last week's tease, Dr Alchemy rears his ugly mask.

It's a solid enough episode, with Grant Gustin once again carrying things as the heart of the show. But there's still the feeling that the writers are desperately trying to course correct from Flashpoint, and just like in the show, it might take a while to get everything back to normal.

With a new villain and another new timeline, Paradox had plenty going on, and left us with lots of questions as we move forwards.

After hearing a lot of talk about how Flashpoint would affect Arrow, and that in particular it'd have an impact on Diggle, we finally got to see just what that means.

As Barry visited Felicity for a pep-talk, it transpired that everything was pretty much the same... except instead of a little girl, John and Lyla had a little boy - John Diggle Jr.

That's interesting, because when Legends of Tomorrow went to the year 2046, they came across a new version of Green Arrow: Connor Hawke, whose real name was John Diggle Jr. In that timeline, however, he was the younger brother of Sara Diggle, who now no longer exists.

Does that mean the change is permanent? Will this John become Green Arrow? Is this even going to matter?
