The Flash Season 3: 7 Easter Eggs & References You Might've Missed In 'Paradox'
1. Is That You, Savitar?
At the end of the episode, Edward Clariss AKA The Rival is jailed up in Iron Heights. Having fallen short in his mission to take out The Flash, Alchemy sends him a mental message that he is not happy with his failure. Shortly after, Clariss is strangled – presumably to death – by a unknown metahuman.
We don’t get a good look at the assailant but we do clearly see an arm encased in some sort of bulky metal armour. While this would not exactly fit the appearance of the character in the comics, the speed at which the character arrives on the scene suggests that it might be Savitar.
Another evil speedster, Savitar has been confirmed to be sharing big bad duties for this season with Doctor Alchemy. It had been assumed that the season would be carved up between them but perhaps the pair have actually formed an evil union?
