The Flash Season 3: 7 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Paradox'

6. The Ever-Hopeful Barry

The Flash Paradox
The CW

One of the things that makes Barry Allen the true hero that he is, is the constant hope and positivity we see so often exemplified in he does on a daily basis. And that hope and positivity was front-and-centre in Paradox.

He’s only recently had to knowingly allow his arch nemesis to kill his mother once more, and he’s now in a present day where there’s not exactly a whole lot of love amongst Team Flash’s regular faces. However, that doesn’t stop Barry from always looking to make the best of each and every situation.

It may not have been all that appreciated, and it could easily be classed as a little annoying to some at times, but you’ve got to admire Barry for doing his best to get Joe and Iris back on speaking terms whilst also attempting to calm the ire that Cisco has towards him.

Down to his very fundamentals, Barry Allen is a hero who is so often a sign of hope, a brightness in the dark, a constant stream of positive energy, and again we saw that at full force here.
