The Flash Season 3: 8 Ways Flashpoint Will Change The Show

2. Wally West Is Kid Flash

The Flash Flashpoint Changes
The CW

One of the biggest changes to the Flash universe after Barry's actions are that he's no longer the hero. Sure, he's still the Flash and has speedster powers, but the pressure of saving Central City from the bad guys no longer rests on his shoulders.

Instead, Central City's new hero is a different speedster running around in a different coloured suit. When Wally West was welcomed (hey, comic books love their alliteration) into the show last year, the expectation was he'd become a speedster, much like his comics counterpart. That didn't happen, but Flashpoint's given them a way to do it, with Wally now suiting up as Kid Flash.

Because of the name and the characters powers from the comics, you'd imagine they'll find a way of him having powers beyond Flashpoint, but for now it's going to be good not just having Kid Flash around, but also seeing Wally given more purpose on the series too.
