The Flash Season 3 Review: 7 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Flashpoint'

10. Wally West, Kid Flash

The Flash Flashpoint
The CW

In the build up to The Flash’s third season, Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West certainly looked the part as Kid Flash in all of the promo material that was being put out by The CW. And living up to the hype, the superspeed-powered, suited-up Wally was brilliant to see in action.

With a confidence and youthful cockiness to his decisions, approach, and battles with The Rival, Wally was a far different hero to Barry in the sense that he was a little more of a showboater. Obviously that would eventually be his downfall, with his taunting of the fallen Rival seeing Wally end up with life-threatening injuries.

We don’t know if and when we’ll see Wally as Kid Flash again in the future, but there was enough shown here to make that side of the character hugely enjoyable and somebody who fans will be eager to see return sooner rather than later.
