The Flash Season 5: 10 Easter Eggs & References You Might Have Missed In 'Nora'
1. The Icicle Cometh
Caitlin Snow's world got turned upside down when she learned that she had ice-powers as a child. The discovery may have been a shock, but thanks to Ralph Dibny, she may get some much-needed answers.
In the Season 5 premiere, the crafty private investigator managed to obtain her father's death certificate and discovered that the doctor who signed it, Cameron Mahkent, didn't actually exist. While this obviously suggests that Caitlin's father could still be alive, the faux doctor's name is undoubtedly the most intriguing thing here. In the comics, Cameron Mahkent is the real name of the villain known as The Icicle.
Though this was a nice little nod to a fellow ice-powered villain, it was more foreshadowing than anything else, as The Icicle will be featured in an episode later in the season. But how is he connected to Killer Frost, and can he help her channel her inner ice queen?
