The Flash Season 6 Finale Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs From 'Success Is Assured'
4. Sue's Return
In spite of the fact that this particular episode strangely thrived on its moody tone, it still needed occasional moments of levity. Thank goodness Sue Dearbon was there to provide it with it.
Sue's occasional appearances quickly are becoming one of this writer's favourite aspects of the show, simply because Natalie Dreyfuss is an exhilarating presence on-screen - and her chemistry with Hartley Sawyer is off-the-chain. All of that makes it a joy to watch her, and her return ensured that she brought some must-see moments to the finale.
The character has always been something of a do-gooder crook in that she'll have no problem walking over you to get what she wants - or in this case: Needs - but she's perfectly willing to help you up after she's done it. And that very much continued into the finale as she attempted to kill Carver for all he'd done to her family, only to cave and assist Team Flash in their fight against Black Hole instead.
And from the shock reveal that Eva had framed her for Joseph's murder, it's clear that her journey is about to get a lot more interesting.
