The Flash Season 6 Finale: What Does The Ending Really Mean?

1. Iris Has Vanished... Or Has She?

Over the past couple of episodes, it's becoming clear that the neural dissonance has been having quite a drastic effect on Iris West-Allen... and you know, being trapped in the Mirrorverse will do that to you.

Her apparent disintegration/disappearance in the finale's post-title tease undoubtedly left fans unnerved, but there's actually a pretty high chance that she was the one who initiated that... well, whatever that was.

Iris' connection to the Mirrorverse appears to be growing stronger. If she forced herself to concentrate long enough, she could connect with the computers and find Captain Singh's location. And it was when she successfully managed to track him down that she seemingly vanished.

With that in mind, it's entirely possible that this genius cliffhanger was just over-dramatizing the moment for shock value (given that it was the finale) ad that Iris just unwittingly teleported to Singh's location.

Let's hope that's the case, anyway...
