Contains spoilers from The Flash Season 6, Episode 19.

The Flash's sixth season has been entertaining fans of the show for the better part of a year. A breath of fresh air, it sped its way back into our hearts by giving it its most engaging storyline in quite a long time, introducing Eva McCulloch's Mirror Master as the villain in the second half.

Months and weeks of planning all built towards a suspenseful finale that was designed to give each of the show's long-running narratives the payoffs that they needed. Unfortunately, that wasn't meant to be right now, as the season aired its nineteenth episode as the finale instead. There were, of course, supposed to be 22, but with everything happening in the world, there was no choice but to simply air 'Success Is Assured' as the finale instead.

Speaking of 'Success Is Assured', the finale hit screens this week and, in spite of the fact that it wasn't originally intended to be the season's concluding episode, it wasted little time turning things upside down for Team Flash - setting off a chain reaction of events that undoubtedly left fans stunned, raising a number of questions for Season 7.
