The Flash Season 6 Review: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'License To Elongate'

1. Comedy Over Drama

Another tricky 'down', it was admittedly rather enjoyable seeing Chester Runk liven things up with his lovable personality and he paired surprisingly well with Cecile Horton as the dynamic duo teamed up to help Chester ask his beloved Natalie out. However, in spite of the potential here (and the comedy gold), this in a way, felt like the episode's weak link.

Over-the-top humour can be one of The Flash's most valuable assets, but here it was a little too in-your-face - especially when the characters are dealing with such major issues right now. And the most frustrating thing about it all was that Cecile's fears and concerns over setting up her own firm were solid foundations for a more meaningful story.

This season has proven that there is more to Cecile Horton than just comedic moments, but this was a bit of a step backwards for her - and that's a darn shame.

That being said, it would be nice to see more of this dynamic between Cecile and Chester going forward.

Now, for the positives...
