The Flash Season 6 Review: 4 Ups & 3 Downs From 'There Will Be Blood'

2. More Than Meets The Wells

The Flash Season 6
The CW

The episode's most unexpected plot thread saw the newest iteration of Harrison Wells ("Nash") show up at S.T.A.R. Labs and offer to help Barry with his attempts to save Ramsey on the condition that he and Cisco build him a device in return. Tom Cavanagh was once again on fire as the newcomer and having Nash utilise a bug to learn all about The Flash and the Crisis made for a refreshing change from the usual format.

The character provided us with a number of great (and very theatrical) moments throughout, but it was his role in the pre-credits teaser that got all of us talking - as, upon his use of Cisco's recently-built device, we discovered that he was actually tracking The Monitor (a.k.a. Mar Novu).

It turns out that there is more to Nash Wells than his admittedly very good Indiana Jones impression. A wise move, no doubt, and it simply must be said that it's great to see the pre-credit tease adopting a similar format to the first season by revealing more and more of Wells' secrets.

But just what interests Mr. Harrison Nash Wells in The Monitor?
