The Flash Season 6 Review: 5 Ups & 2 Downs From 'So Long And Goodnight'

Downs...

2. Don't Know What You Got 'Till It's Gone

The Flash Barry Iris
The CW

The closing moments of the episode - which saw Iris West-Allen basically tell her husband that they're finished before asking him to leave - was a great moment of conflict between a couple that barely argues anymore. Well, at least it would have been if this was actually the real couple.

Yes, while the fake Iris' uncharacteristic tantrum will undoubtedly make Barry see that this is but a twisted reflection of his actual lightning rod, it's still hard to buy that he wouldn't have noticed that the woman he's been living with for weeks now isn't actually Iris.

Sure, the show could hide behind the fact that Team Flash have been buried under concerns over both the Black Hole situation and the return of the Reverse-Flash, but are we supposed to forget that the pair actually live together. They have to go home after the credits roll and sleep in the same bed.

Given that both Wally and Joe already have, surely Barry should have noticed her erratic behaviour by now, right?
