The Flash Season 6 Review: 5 Ups & 2 Downs From 'So Long And Goodnight'
1. Convenience Outweighs Logic
'So Long and Goodnight' was a tale of two halves that competently furthered two of the season's long-running narratives by bringing them together. The only problem is that they weren't brought together in the way that immediately mattered.
While the episode balanced both stories well, we can get into how great it was to see Ralph and Sue out-quirk each other a little bit later on. For now, let's just focus on the convenience of this particular narrative's return.
You'd be forgiven for thinking that Ralph's attempt to track down Sue took him to a different city - and judging by the 'CC' in First National CC Bank, it did not - because that would be the only logical explanation as to why Barry wouldn't have called for back-up during his war with Rag Doll?
Elongated Man successfully defeated Rag Doll last season, and The Flash's family was at risk because his speed couldn't save them... so why wouldn't he have enlisted Ralph? Oh yeah, plot convenience.
On that note, why wasn't Killer Frost an option either? Where even was she?
Now, for the positives...
