The Flash Season 6 Review: 5 Ups & 2 Downs From 'So Long And Goodnight'
Ups...
5. Rag Doll Remains Relevant
It's hard keeping things fresh when you've been on the air for six years, especially when you're renowned for relying on the villain-of-the-week crutch one too many times. However, in spite of the fact that they had used him twice in the past year, The Flash found a way to make Rag Doll feel fresh.
Unlike previous installments, the episode wasn't actually about him. No, he was merely there to serve a purpose for Carver, so another villain could have essentially filled this role. But that villain just wouldn't have come across anywhere near as convincing as Rag Doll was because of how visually terrifying a character he is.
Rag Doll had a role to play, and he played it perfectly.
