The Flash Season 6 Review: 6 Ups & 2 Downs From 'The Exorcism Of Nash Wells'
1. Tom Cavanagh's Performance
It's no secret how incredible a performer Tom Cavanagh is. After all, the man brought has brought an endless array of Harrison Wells characters to life over the past six years. But not even a reputation like that could prepare us for the masterclass he delivered in this one.
He authentically personified Nash's overwhelming feelings of guilt with an unexpectedly fragile turn that finally allowed audiences to empathise with the illusive character before effortlessly slotting back into the deliciously villainous role of Reverse-Flash, uttering every last syllable with that incredibly callous whisper that made him such a legendary villain in the first place.
One of The Flash vet's all-time greatest performances, he once again proved why the show's over-reliance on the Harrison Wells character always works. The answer is (as it always was) the sheer strength of Cavanagh's performance.
