The Flash Season 6 Review: 7 Ups & 1 Down From 'Liberation'

Down...

1. Timing Is A Little Convenient

As great as 'Liberation' was (and believe me, we will get to that), it did leave this writer feeling like a lot of the events taking place relied solely on certain things conveniently happening at a certain time.

After spending so long inside the Mirrorverse, Eva's plan to escape just so happened to coincide with Barry's plan to expose faux Iris in front of everyone - both of which just so happened to coincide with the real Iris' discovery of Eva's plans. And to top it all off, faux Iris just so happened to suddenly start developing feelings now. You see the problem here?

It's not a huge thing if you don't think about it too much, but it just felt like all of the major events in the episode could have only gone down that way if certain hoops were jumped through all at the same time. And that just feels a little too convenient at this stage.

Now, for the positives...
