The Flash Season 6 Review: 7 Ups & 1 Down From 'Liberation'

2. Mirror Master Lives Happily Eva After

Like the aforementioned faux Iris arc, Eva McCulloch and the real Iris' imprisonment felt like it was beginning to drag a little just because they'd spent so long in the same place. And that made the conclusion of the episode - in which Eva finally emerged from the Mirrorverse and confronted Barry - all the more satisfying.

She may only have been on the ground a couple of minutes, but Eva has already given us a glimpse of what she's capable of as she moved from mirror to mirror and set off in search of her husband Joseph Carver - and what an intimidating glimpse it was.

The Flash has given us many a great villains over the years, but it struggled with its original interpretation of the Sam Scudder Mirror Master. The show's chance to right that wrong revolves around the writers giving Mirror Master II an arc worthy of the comic book counterpart. So far, so good.
