The Flash Season 7: 9 Theories On The Identity Of The New Big Bad

2. Inertia

Inertia made his comic book debut back in 1999 and is, in many ways, Bart Allen's answer to the Reverse-Flash - the reason being that he literally is the reverse of him. Also called Kid Zoom, Inertia is a villainous clone of Barry Allen's grandson. The show's version, however, could end up looking a little more familiar.

While Bart hasn't made his debut in the Arrowverse yet, Barry and Iris know all about time-travelling relatives - as their future daughter, Nora West-Allen, showed up in the present in a bid to get to know them. Unfortunately, Nora's attempt to save Barry from the Crisis resulted in her working with Eobard Thawne - something that ultimately resulted in her being erased from existence.

Before Nora vanished, she was beginning to lose herself due to her usage of the Negative Speed Force because it was making her as evil, unflinching and corrupt as Thawne was. And that troubled her so much that she decided to allow herself to perish instead of becoming like him.

But what if something was left behind? Could Nora's brief return to the Negative Speed Force before her demise have created an evil copy? Could a different Nora show up from a different future in search of revenge?

All the groundwork was laid in Season 5, so even though it would require some interesting rewrites to the comic book lore, it would be pretty easy for The Flash to reintroduce Nora as the Arrowverse's Inertia/Kid Zoom. And this goes without saying, but Jessica Parker Kennedy would certainly nail it.
