The Flash Season 7: 9 Theories On The Identity Of The New Big Bad
1. Godspeed
Every year one Flash season comes to an end, Godspeed finds himself topping the lists of potential villains for the following offering to tackle - and for good reason. A relatively new speedster, August Heart has found his way into the hearts and minds of comic book fans in a short amount of time and we've been waiting patiently to see the show portray him properly. The thing that sets this year apart from others, however, is that we might finally be about to see it happen.
Having wasted the character in a standalone Season 5 episode, the writers gifted fans with another chance to see Godspeed (thanks to major timeline rewriting) when multiple versions of the sleek speedster turned up in Season 6. Though all of them were unable to speak, the latest drone showed up with one message: The one who sent us desires infinite velocity.
The show has done a masterful job of teasing us with all the faux Godspeeds as we prepare for the arrival of August Heart himself, and according to Eric Wallace, we will be seeing the villain officially make his presence felt in Season 7.
