The Flash Season 2: 11 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Trajectory'

Iris and her new editor, Scott, have a massive difference of opinion when it comes to the Flash, so she asks him for coffee to discuss the story further, and naturally he assumes that's a date. Why else would a woman want to go for coffee with you, eh? Apart from that reason that was explicitly stated. 

Anyway, they resolve their issues come the episode's end, and it does seem as though there's an attraction between the pair. Dating your boss probably isn't the smartest move, but given Iris hasn't had much luck in love anyway (too soon?) it probably can't hurt, until it's revealed that Scott has some secret identity and is a hero doomed to die or a villain who wants to kill her.
