The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power - 11 Things We Expect To See

8. The Noldor's Journey

Even with what little's been revealed, there's a strong implication that the series will feature much of the Noldor Elves's history. Different Elves have different clans in Tolkien's world, and the Noldor had arguably the most fraught and violent of all of them.

The teaser image showing the two trees and what looks like Galadriel looking off into the distance implies at LEAST a short flashback to the reason the Noldor were exiled from Valinor (in simplest terms, Elf Heaven where the gods live) and ended up in Endor (Middle Earth).

Though the story likely won't follow the entire journey (which is filled to the brim with thousands of years worth of murder and war against a foe who was Sauron's boss), it'll be intriguing to see how much will show up in the series.

The Noldor being the most skilled craftspeople of all Elves will also definitely show up, since it's Sauron's manipulation of Noldor smiths that leads to the creation of the Rings Of Power. Major figures like Celebrimbor, Galadriel and Elrond are expected to pop up, as major players from the Noldorin clan who play huge roles in Middle Earth's history.
