The Mandalorian Season 2: 10 Biggest Moments And Reveals In "The Passenger"

A dark but admittedly comical subplot in "The Passenger" sees The Child become obsessed with the eggs that their stowaway is transporting. Fairly early on in the episode, he manages to eat one of them, but is chastised by the Mandalorian and told not to do it again.

Have you ever told a child not to do or touch something? If so, you'll probably be well aware that it's a pointless endeavour, and that's something Din Djarin learns throughout the course of this episode.

The Child manages to nab quite a few more as time goes on, chowing down on the eggs and clearly enjoying himself. When the passenger heads to a nearby hot spring, Din stops his ward from eating more of them, but luckily for the adorable creature, there are plenty of others in that cavern. Pulling one open, he yanks out and eats a baby spider-like creature. Big mistake.

Before getting to that, though, the final shot of the episode is nothing short of hilarious as it's revealed The Child managed to steal one final egg from the passenger!
