The Mandalorian Season 2: 10 Things That NEED To Happen
3. We See Din's Face More Often
One of the main sticking points against this show among critics is the fact that we only see Din Djarin's face once during the season 1 finale. And even then, he's so bloodied and beaten up that it's basically impossible to tell what he looks like under normal circumstances.
The rest of the time, he's just a faceless badass with an admittedly cute twist of essentially being a single dad. This obviously cannot last, so there should be more of Din's face being shown as the show carries on. Not a whole lot of course, as Din's sect of Mandalorians still has their rules about showing their face. But here and there peppered throughout the seasons there should be moments when Din is separated from his helmet and the audience actually gets to see his face and connect with him on a deeper level.
A faceless protagonist is great for getting audiences to graft themselves onto the character and into the story, but that has diminishing returns. But giving him a face and letting him be a real character? That lasts forever.
