The Mandalorian Season 2: 10 Things That NEED To Happen

2. Address Ahsoka And The Mandalorians

For those who didn't watch Clone Wars for some ungodly reason, or just those for whom it's been a while and you just don't remember, the way Mandalorians decide their leaders is a bit unorthodox. Since they have a monarchy, usually it's just your normal line of succession, but according to the ancient Mandalorian ways, if you defeat the current ruler in fair and honorable single combat, that makes YOU the ruler.

So with that in mind, the Mandalorians should be bowing down to Ahsoka Tano.

Illegitimate ruler or not, Darth Maul was still the ruler of Mandalore. No ifs ands or buts about it. And Ahsoka Tano defeated him in honorable single combat. Sure Bo Katan is the ruler when we meet her in Rebels, but hey, last I checked, there's no rule saying that there couldn't be TWO queens. Now you COULD say that that rule only really applied to Death Watch, and when they got ousted, that rule probably went with them. But we don't know that for sure, so some clarification on that at least would be appreciated.

She doesn't actually have to be the queen when season 2 has her show up. But they should definitely still address it, if for no other reason than to explain why she ISN'T the ruler of Mandalore. Because the rules we're aware of as of this article seem pretty ironclad.
